Genetics and Global Health – Lecture
Dyann Wirth is a major leader in the area of malaria research. Her work has provided completely new insights into how the malaria parasite has evolved, specifically in the areas of population biology, drug resistance, and antigenicity. A Professor of Infectious Diseases at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, she is also Director of the Harvard Malaria Initiative and a Faculty Committee member of the Science of Eradication: Malaria leadership development course.
On May 8, 2013, Professor Wirth gave a seminar on Genetics and Global Health at the Barcelona Institute for Global Health in Barcelona, Spain.
