Dr Franco Pagnoni has significant expertise in developing, managing and evaluating malaria programs accrued over 30 years of work at the global, regional, national, district, and community levels throughout French and English speaking sub-Saharan Africa, working for civil society organizations, bilateral aid agencies, and United Nations organizations. I am a public health specialist expert in community-based interventions to improve access to quality treatment for maternal and childhood illnesses by underserved populations in disease-endemic countries. I have extensive experience in malaria research and control and was one of the key researchers in the development of the Integrated Community Case Management (iCCM) strategy.
