As part of a new academic consortium effort, three institutions with deep knowledge and expertise in malaria – the Barcelona Institute for Global Health, Harvard University, and Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute—have launched a series of new leadership courses designed to prepare and inspire a future generation of malaria scholars and leaders.

Academic course planning is led by the consortium’s Faculty Planning Committee. The core module and advance modules benefit from major financial support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, ExxonMobil Foundation, and Sumitomo Chemical. Additional teaching assistance and financial support is provided by the following co-sponsors: Swiss Government and Harvard University, including the Faculty of Arts & Sciences, Harvard Business School, Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard Global Health Institute, Harvard Medical School, and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
