An instructor in the 2012 course, Dr Prashant Yadav is strategy leader of Supply Chain at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) and a visiting scholar at Harvard Medical School. His research and policy advisory efforts focus on health care supply chains in developing countries. Before his time working in academia, he has worked in pharmaceutical strategy, management consulting, and supply chain technology companies.

He is the former director of Healthcare Research at the University of Michigan’s William Davidson Institute and faculty member at the Ross School of Business and School of Public Health at the University of Michigan. Dr Yadav is the author of many peer-reviewed scientific publications and his work has been featured in prominent print and broadcast media including The Economist, The Financial Times, Nature, and the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).
