Mr. George Jagoe leads a small team at Medicines for Malaria Venture (MMV) focused on increasing access to new malaria treatments. Before MMV, Mr. Jagoe was the first Country Director for the Clinton Foundation’s HIV/AIDS Initiative in Mozambique, supporting access to antiretroviral treatments via the national health system. He has also worked in the pharmaceutical industry (AstraZeneca Spain), health system management (Kaiser Permanente; Aetna International), and healthcare consulting (ChapterHouse). Earlier in his career, he worked with ACCION International supporting micro-enterprise programs throughout Latin America. He earned an undergraduate degree from Harvard College and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Kellogg (Northwestern University).
